Happy Belated Birthday Aden

Aden's Birthday was September 24th...the same day Jonathan had to report to the MTC. Although we had a wonderful little party for him in Utah, (thanks Auntie Lori and Auntie Jacq),
his special day was a little over shadowed! On Friday night we had another little fiesta at Chevy's! Everyone needs a birthday sombrero and a round of Happy Happy Birthday! In honor of Aden's 11th Birthday I thought I would list 11 things you might not know about Aden!
11. He's not to cool to hang out will his mom!
10. His favorite show is The Office!
9. He loves to play!
8. He is a good friend!
7. He looks up to Jonathan and Hailey!
6. His favorite dinner is Spaghetti and Meatballs!
5. He loves to cuddle!
4. Little kids love him!
3. He needs glasses!
2. He wants to go to Italy on his mission!
1. He always makes sure he tells me he LOVES me...everyday!
Happy Birthday Aden......I LOVE YOU TOO!

Tonight we leave for the "Mother Land" to take Elder Pierce to the Missionary Training Center! He will spend about 3 weeks in Provo and then he will spend the remaining 6 weeks in the MTC in Guatemala City. We are so EXCITED for Jonathan's new adventure and will keep this blog updated as he updates us! Here are some photos from his last Sunday in Santa Rosa!

Confessions of a "Blog Stalker"

My name is Karen and I am a blog stalker! Wow.... that feels good to get off my chest. My friend Brook introduced me to the world of blogging and it has become a bit of an obsession for me. I have a few friends who are faithful bloggers and I check their blogs daily. It is great to read about their lives! Especially friends who live far away! The problem began when I started checking out the blogs linked to their blogs. I found myself following a trail of blogs, some of people I know, and others belonging to total strangers. I was also awkward when people would tell me stuff and I would reply "I know" and when they would ask how...I would have to confess that I was a Lurker! So to YOU, the people I have stalked...I dedicate this, the first official post of our family blog, TO YOU!

Going to Guatemala!!!!
